An additive analysis of multiplicative Schwarz methods (Q1938821): Difference between revisions

This paper analyses the multiplicative Schwarz method (including the classical Gauss--Seidel method, certain multigrid methods, and domain decomposition methods as special cases) for symmetric positive definite problems. The analysis is based on the theory of additive Schwarz preconditioners.
