The Smirnov class \(E^p(G)\) \((0< p\leq\infty)\) comprises the family of functions \(f\) that are analytic in a finitely-connected domain \(G\) in \(\mathbb{C}\) bounded by rectifiable Jordan curves \(\gamma_1,\dots, \gamma_n\) if there exists a sequence of rectifiable curves \(\{\Gamma_i\}^\infty_1\) in \(G\) converging to \(\Gamma= \bigcup^n_{i=1} \gamma_i\) such that \[ \limsup_{i\to\infty}\, \int_{\Gamma_i}|f(z)|^p|dz|< \infty. \] The authors prove that, if \(G\) is an \(n\)-connected domain bounded by the curves \(\gamma_1,\dots, \gamma_n\) that are real analytic except at the points \(\{z_1,\dots, z_m\}\) on \(\Gamma\) at which there are corners with interior angles \(\{\alpha_1,\dots, \alpha_m\}\) (here \(\pi< \alpha_j\leq 2\pi\) for \(j= 1,\dots, m)\), then every function in \(E^p(G)\) with real boundary values is a constant whenever \(p\geq\alpha/\pi\) (where \(\alpha= \min\{\alpha_q\): \(f\) is unbounded near \(z_q\), \(q\in\{1,\dots, m\}\}\)). They also show that, if \(p< \alpha/\pi\), there exists a non-constant function \(f\in E^p(G)\) with real boundary values a.e. This work extends earlier results of the authors for simply-connected domains [Complex Anal. Oper. Theory 7, No. 1, 101--106 (2013; Zbl 1275.30028)].
