\textit{D. Uğurlu} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 68, No. 7, A, 1986--1992 (2008; Zbl 1137.35316)] studied the existence of the global attractor for the Brinkman-Forchheimer equation in \(H^1(\Omega)\) when the external forcing term belongs to \(L^2(\Omega)\) and \textit{B. Wang} and \textit{S. Lin} [Math. Methods Appl. Sci. 31, No. 12, 1479--1495 (2008; Zbl 1146.35322)] investigated the existence of the global attractor for the Brinkman-Forchheimer equation in \(H^2(\Omega)\). Motivated by above papers, the authors proved the existence of uniform attractor for the Brinkman-Forchheimer equations with general decay and external force which is translation compact in \(L^2_{\text{loc}}(\mathbb R; L^2(\Omega))\).
