Summary: This paper presents three definitions which are a natural combination of the definitions of asymptotic equivalence, statistical convergence, lacunary statistical convergence, and Wijsman convergence. In addition, we also present asymptotically equivalent (Wijsman sense) analogs of theorems by \textit{F. Patterson} and \textit{E. Savaş} [Thai J. Math. 4, No. 2, 267--272 (2006; Zbl 1155.40301)].
