Inspired by Witten's work on the topological Landau-Ginzburg model, \textit{H. Fan} et al. [Ann. Math. (2) 178, No. 1, 1--106 (2013; Zbl 1310.32032)] developed a Gromov-Witten type quantum theory for any non-degenerate quasi-homogeneous singularity, which is associated to a Landau-Ginzburg model. It can be regarded as an intersection theory on the moduli space of solutions of the Witten equation. On the other hand, \textit{H.-L. Chang} and \textit{J. Li} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2012, No. 18, 4163--4217 (2012; Zbl 1253.14053)], and independently \textit{A. Polishchuk} and \textit{A. Vaintrob} [Contemp. Math. 276, 229--249 (2001; Zbl 1051.14007)], initiated an program to give an algebro-geometric construction of Landau-Ginzburg theory. In this paper, the authors show that the moduli stack of \(A_{r-1}\)-curves in FJRW theory is canonically isomorphic to the stacks of \(r\)-spin curves constructed by \textit{D. Abramovich} and \textit{T. Y. Jarvis} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 131, No. 3, 685--699 (2003; Zbl 1037.14008)]. They also prove that their intersection theories are equivalent. In particular, Witten's conjecture (proved in [\textit{C. Faber} et al., Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 43, No. 4, 621--658 (2010; Zbl 1203.53090)]) asserts that total descendant potential functions of both theories satisfy the \(r\)-th Gelfand-Dikii hierarchy.
