Let \(X\) be a nonempty set. According to \textit{Á.~Császár} [Acta Math. Hung. 131, 193--195 (2011; Zbl 1240.54004)], a weak structure is a family of subsets of \(X\) \ containing \(\emptyset\) . A family of subsets of \(X\) is called an \(m\)-structure if it contains \(\emptyset\), \(X\) and is closed under finite intersections (this notion is due to \textit{A.~Al-Omari and T.~Noiri} [Quest. Answers Gen. Topology 30, 105--114 (2012; Zbl 1260.54003)]). The authors show several elementary results, in particular that an \(m\)-structure generates a finer topology.
