Summary: The continuous \(g\)-frames in Hilbert \(C^\ast\)-modules were introduced and investigated by \textit{M. R. Kouchi} and \textit{A. Nazari} [Abstr. Appl. Anal. 2011, Article ID 361595, 20 p. (2011; Zbl 1227.46039)]. They also studied continuous \(g\)-Riesz bases and a characterization for them was presented by using the synthesis operator. However, we found that there is an error in the proof. The purpose of this paper is to improve their result by introducing the so-called modular continuous \(g\)-Riesz bases.
