In this paper, a nonautonomous second order periodic systems with a nonsmooth potential are considered. By using the nonsmooth critical point theory the authors establish the existence of nontrivial solution. Moreover, by strengthening the hypotheses on the nonsmooth potential a multiplicity theorem is proved.
