The authors, renowned experts in Menger algebras [see their monograph Algebras of multiplace functions. Berlin: Walter de Gruyter (2012; Zbl 1253.08001)], introduced the concept of \(n\)-place interior operation on a fixed set. Some algebraic properties of the \(n\)-place interior operations are proved. Also, abstract characterization under which Menger algebras of rank \(n\) can be isomorphically represented by \(n\)-place interior operations of some set are given. Because for \(n=1\) the Menger algebras are semigroups, in particular, there are obtained some result of \textit{V. T. Kulik} and \textit{H. G. Podluzhnyak} [Naukovi Zapiski, Ser. Fiz. Mat. (Vinnitsa) 1, 341-346 (2002)].
