In this paper, some topological property of quasitopological groups are investigated. It is shown that a quasisemitopological group is semi-metrizable if and only if it is first-countable. Also, it is shown that every quasi-developable quasitopological group is a \(\beta\)-space; every regular quasi-developable quasitopological group is a metrizable topological group. This gives a partial answer to a question by \textit{F. Lin} and \textit{C. Liu} [Topology Appl. 159, No. 10--11, 2764--2773 (2012; Zbl 1276.54027)]. This paper is well organized and contains interesting results and examples.
