Let \(A = \mathbb F_q[\theta]\) be the polynomial ring in a variable \(\theta\) over the finite field \(\mathbb F_q\) with quotient field \(K = \mathbb F_q(\theta)\), completion \(K_{\infty} =\mathbb F_q((\theta^{-1}))\) at \(\infty\), and completed algebraic closure \(\mathbb C_{\infty}\). \bigskip Following the well-known analogy between the data \((A,K,K_{\infty},\mathbb C_{\infty})\) and \((\mathbb Z, \mathbb Q, \mathbb R, \mathbb C)\), there is a theory of modular forms for the group \(\Gamma = {\text{ GL}}(2,A)\) similar to classical elliptic modular forms for \({\text{ SL}}(2,\mathbb Z)\) (``Drinfeld modular forms''). Many features of the classical theory (expansions at \(\infty\), Hecke operators, congruence properties of coefficients) have counterparts in the present context. In the note under consideration, the author proposes a definition of \(\mathfrak v\)-adic Drinfeld modular forms (where \(\mathfrak v\) is a prime of \(A\)) in the sense of Serre, which arise from \(\mathfrak v\)-adic interpolation of ``ordinary'' Drinfeld modular forms. The author's Theorems 3 and 4 show that such forms have a reasonable behavior under Hecke operators.
