The author introduces quasi-admissible hyperelliptic covers with at worst \(A\) and \(D\) singularities. The main result is that their moduli spaces are smooth and proper Deligne-Mumford stacks. Moreover, these moduli spaces are related by the log minimal model program. As applications, these moduli spaces are used to study stable reduction of curves with \(A\) and \(D\) singularities as well as the stacks of stable limits of \(A\) and \(D\) singularities.
