Let \( (G', G) \) be a real dual pair of type I in a large symplectic group \(\mathrm{Sp}_{2N}(\mathbb R) \). For a complex nilpotent orbit \( \mathcal O' \) in \(\mathfrak{g'}_{\mathbb C} \), if it is relatively small, one can lift it to a nilpotent orbit \( \mathcal O \) in \(\mathfrak{g}_{\mathbb C} \) using the machinery of theta correspondence. In particular, if \( (G', G) \) is in the stable range, every nilpotent orbit \( \mathcal O' \) is relatively small, and one can get a lift. For Young diagrammatic notation, the lift can be described easily; it only adds a new column with a definite length to the Young diagram corresponding to \( \mathcal O' \). In this paper, the authors try to extend it to Springer representations attached to nilpotent orbits. Springer representations are usually realized in the top cohomology of the Springer fiber of a nilpotent element, but they are also realized in a space of harmonic polynomials on a Cartan subspace. They deduce the correspondence of Springer representations in terms of harmonic polynomials, using the technique of Fourier transforms of the invariant measure on nilpotent orbits. The obtained formula for harmonics is to multiply certain difference products by the harmonics to be lifted. Springer representations attached to the nilpotent orbits are associated to the trivial local system over nilpotent orbits. There also exist Springer representations associated to non-trivial local systems, but it seems there is no mention about them.
