Halton-type sequences from global function fields (Q2438546): Difference between revisions

The authors present a new construction of \((t,s)\)-sequences in base \(q\) using global function fields. This yields an analog of Halton sequences and is not directly based on the digital method. Applying this approach, better discrepancy bounds can be achieved.
