    Let \(M\) be a \((2n+1)\)-dimensional manifold equipped with an almost contact structure \((\varphi,\xi,\eta)\) and a pseudo-Riemannian metric \(g\) such that \( g(\varphi x,\varphi y ) = - g(x,y) + \eta(x)\eta(y) \) for vector fields \(x,y,z, \dots\) on \(M\), i.e., a \(B\)-metric. The fundamental tensor field \( F(x,y,z) = g((\nabla_x )(y),z) \), where \(\nabla\) is the Levi-Civita connection of \(g\), provides a classification of the almost contact manifolds with \(B\)-metrics (Norden metrics) consisting of eleven classes \(\mathcal{F}_i\), \(i=1,\dots ,11\). The author considers only the normal (i.e., the Nijenhuis tensor field vanishes) classes \( \mathcal{F}_1\), \(\mathcal{F}_2\), \(\mathcal{F}_4\), \(\mathcal{F}_5\), \(\mathcal{F}_6 \) and pays a special attention to their direct sum \(\mathcal{NC}\) (\(N=0\), \(d\eta =0\)) and to the class \(\mathcal{F}_0\) (\(F =0\)) (Kähler type) as well. Various identities satisfied by the curvatures of these classes are proved. The normal almost contact manifolds with \(B\)-metrics of isotropic Kähler type \(( \| \nabla \varphi \| = \| \nabla \eta \| =0)\) are characterized. A five-dimensional Lie group is structured such that it belongs to \(\mathcal{F}_4 \oplus \mathcal{F}_5\).
