In this article, an abstract analogue of \textit{I. Bihari}'s lemma [Acta Math. Acad. Sci. Hung. 7, 81--94 (1956; Zbl 0070.08201)] is derived. The main result is based on Gronwall's lemma (see [\textit{A. V. Chernov}, Math. Notes 88, No. 2, 262--274 (2010); translation from Mat. Zametki 88, No. 2, 288--302 (2010; Zbl 1235.39016)]) which is generalized to the nonlinear case under the weaker requirement of the existence of a solution of the majorant equation.
