Let \(\mathcal{A}\) be an operator algebra, \(\delta:\mathcal{A}\rightarrow \mathcal{A}\) be a linear map. Then \(\delta\) is called a derivation if \(\delta(AB)=A\delta(B)+\delta(A)B\) for any \(A,B\in \mathcal{A}\). If \(Z\in \mathcal{A}\) and \(\delta(Z)=A\delta(A)B+A\delta(B)\) for any \(A,B\in \mathcal{A}\) with \(AB=Z\), then it is said that \(\delta\) is derivable at point \(Z\) and \(Z\) is called a derivable point of \(\delta\). If every linear map on \(\mathcal{A}\) derivable at \(Z\) is in fact a derivation, then \(Z\) is called an all-derivable point of \(\delta\). In this paper, the authors consider the problem whether the unit operator \(I\), or every injective operator, or every operator with dense range, is an all-derivable point of any nest algebra on any Banach space. They give an affirmative answer with the only restriction that \(\dim X>1\).
