Let \( A^\infty \) denote the space of all \(2\pi\)-periodic functions on~\(\mathbb R\) for which all negative Fourier coefficients vanish. If \( E \) is the classical Cantor set, then \( A_\infty(E) \) denotes the space of all restrictions of functions in \( A^\infty \) to~\(E\). It is a nuclear Fréchet space. The author shows that \( A_\infty(E) \) admits a Schauder basis, thus giving a concrete counterexample to \textit{S. R. Patel} [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 30, No. 1, 371 (2014; Zbl 1298.46003)]. The main part of the proof consists in showing that \( A_\infty(E) \) coincides with the space of \(C^\infty\)-Whitney jets on~\(E\) using the interpolation result of \textit{H. Alexander} et al. [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 36, 556--566 (1971; Zbl 0228.46051)]. Hence by \textit{M. Tidten} [Arch. Math. 40, 73--81 (1983; Zbl 0508.46015)] it is a complemented subspace of \(s\). The existence of a basis follows by the structure theorem of \textit{A. Aytuna} et al. [Math. Ann. 283, No. 2, 193--202 (1989; Zbl 0643.46001)]. The case where \(E\) is replaced by a set with only one accumulation point is investigated using similar methods.
