The author gives a new proof of a theorem by \textit{S. Zelditch} [``Pluri-potential theory on Grauert tubes of real analytic Riemannian manifolds'', Proc. Symp. Pure Math. 84, 299--339 (2012)], which was earlier announced without proof by \textit{L. Boutet de Monvel} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. A 287, 855--856 (1978; Zbl 0392.35043)]. The new proof uses heat kernel techniques. Moreover the bijectivity of an Fourier integral operator \(S_{\tau}\) from \(H^s(X)\) to certain Sobolev space of boundary values of holomorphic functions defined in the \(\tau\)-Grauert tube of \(X\) is provided (\(X\) is a totally real embedding of a real-analytic Riemannian manifold in a given complex manifold). This result seems to be of independent interest.
