The authors consider an initial-boundary value problem of a coupled chemotaxis-fluid flow model. It describes the so-called ``chemotactic Boycott effect'' associated with concentrating hydrodynamic flows arising from the interaction of chemotaxis and diffusion of nutrients or signalling chemicals in bacterial suspensions. The authors study, by energy methods, the long-time behavior of large amplitude classical solutions to this problem, in 2D space.
