This paper ties together the concepts of uniformities, game theory, and Corson compact spaces (compact subspaces of the sigma-products of the reals). A completely regular space is proximal if it has a compatible uniformity such that the first player of a specific game, defined by J. Bell on any uniformity, has a winning strategy. P. Nyikos observed that Corson compact spaces are proximal. The main result is that a compact, proximal space is Corson, answering a question by Nyikos.
