One considers the dynamics of a particle which moves in a random distribution of obstacles defined by a circular potential barrier, in the dimension two (which is more complicated than the dimension three), and the paper provides the limit when the scaling parameter tends to zero; result which is of physical interest in geometrical optics, for instance. The approach works essentially via scattering and elastic reflection.
