What can be said of a paracompact space if it is assumed to be a \(G_\delta\)-subset of a pseudocompact space? From the results that the author proves we quote: (1) the space is Čech-complete iff it is a \(p\)-space; (2) if the Čech-Stone compactification of the pseudocompact is dyadic then the paracompact space is Lindelöf and Čech-complete; and (3) there is pseudo-\(\omega\)-compact space with a hereditarily paracompact zero-set subspace that is not a \(p\)-space.
