Extrapolation cascadic multigrid method on piecewise uniform grid (Q476543): Difference between revisions

The authors present an extrapolation cascadic multigrid (EXCMG) method on a piecewise uniform grid. They discuss more general grids, piecewise uniform triangular grids (PU-grids). They prove that under the discrete \(L^{2}\) norm, the three important properties EXCMG, global high accuracy and posterior error estimates are valid. Numerical experiments are presented to illustrate the theory discussed.
