    Within the framework of normal parabolic equations introduced by the author, the normal parabolic equation associated to the Burgers equation is considered. This equation reads \[ \partial_ty(t,x) - \partial_{xx}y(t,x) - \Phi(y)y = 0, \] where \[ \Phi(y) = \int_0^{2\pi}y^3(x)dx/\int_0^{2\pi}y^2(x)dx,\quad y\neq 0, \, \Phi(y) = 0,\, y= 0. \] This equation is considered with the periodic condition \[ y(t,x+2\pi) = y(t,x) \] and the initial condition \[ y(0,x) = y_0(x) = y_0(x) + v(x) \] with \(y_0(x)\in H^o(T_1)\equiv L^o_2(T_1)\) and \(v\in H^o(T_1)\) -- a starting control with \(\mathrm{supp}(v)\subset[a,b]\subset T_1=\mathbb{R}/2\pi \mathbb{Z}\). The author proves the existence of such a starting control ensuring the exponential decay of the solution.
