This paper is concerned with the study of the scattering of electromagnetic waves in a homogeneous chiral medium. This oblique scattering problem is modeled as a boundary value problem with electric (or magnetic) field. The proofs combine several variational methods with Rellich's lemma. In such a way, the authors establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions in an appropriate Sobolev space.
