The present paper is a well composed modified and extended form of a paper by the author [Acta Math. Hung. 135, No. 4, 350--382 (2012; Zbl 1265.33015)]. That the vanishing condition -- closely related to the Wilson function, see [\textit{W. Groenevelt}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 2003, No. 52, 2779--2817 (2003; Zbl 1079.33005)] -- is necessary, is shown in this paper, by proving that every term of the function series satisfies the condition. A lemma is proved in Section 3 that suggests the vanishing of \(g(y)\), for every complex \(y\), given by Equation (1.2). The theorem, stated in Section 1, is completely proved in Section 4. Convergence of (1.2) is proved and it is shown that it is an entire function. Simultaneously, Relation (1.3) of the theorem is proved. Section 5 deals with the proofs of some integral formulas involving certain functions and a polynomial. An expansion theorem is shown in Section 6 in terms of certain function series. Some upper bounds are deduced in Section 7.
