Recall that an \(L\)--space is a rational homology 3--sphere whose Heegaard Floer homology is that of a lens space. Let \(K(m,n)\) be a genus one two--bridge knot of the form \(C[2m,-2n]\) in Conway's notation. The author shows that if \(mn>0\), then the 4--fold cyclic branched cover of \(K(m,n)\) is an \(L\)--space. This was known previously only for the 2-fold and 3-fold branched covers.
