The paper is concerning the boundary wave phenomena associated with a 2D linearized compressible Navier-Stokes model and also the fundamental solutions. The Neumann and Dirichlet problems are studied by using the Fourier and Laplace transforms, following some previous results of the authors. The variables for the Fourier tangential direction, Laplace time direction and Laplace normal direction are used; the notion of Laplace-Fourier paths is explained. The algebraic system for transformed variables is obtained and a very careful analysis of the roots of the characteristic polynomial is given. The analytic properties of these roots are also studied. The roots distribution is described by using the method of continuity. On this way, the intrinsic wave propagator along the boundary is described.
