In a previous paper [Ann. Inst. Fourier 64, No. 1, 71--111 (2014; Zbl 1310.14021)], the authors established a correspondence between, roughly speaking, quadro-quadric Cremona transformations (that is, quadratic Cremona transformation whose inverse is quadratic) and finite-dimensional Jordan algebras of rank 3. In the paper under review, using the correspondence above, they give new examples of quadro-quadric Cremona transformations and cubo-cubic Cremona transformations. Moreover, they recall the classification of Jordan algebras of rank 3 and dimension 4 and 5 following the same approach as in [\textit{H. Wesseler}, Die Klassifikation der Jordan-Algebren niedrigen Dimensionen, Staatexamensarbeit für das Lehramt am Gymnasium Münster (1978)]. Simultaneously, they describe the geometry of the correspondent Cremona transformation.
