The authors present a condition for regularity of optimal transport maps requiring only three derivatives of the cost function, where the measures defined as densities are only bounded from below and above. This is equivalent to the condition given in [\textit{X.-N. Ma} et al., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 177, No. 2, 151--183 (2005; Zbl 1072.49035)]. Moreover, the authors use new geometric condition on the domain and the support of the target measure. They require only \(c\)-convexity of the support of the target measure instead of strong convexity as desired in [\textit{A. Figalli} et al., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 209, No. 3, 747--795 (2013; Zbl 1281.49037)]. They use instead, however, a condition of compact containment of the supports of source and target measures. What is also important, the authors use new proof techniques.
