Let \(F\) be a field of characteristic different from two, \(F^s\) its separable closure. The authors construct a splitting variety for triple Massey products of elements of \(H^{1}(Gal(F^s/F), {\mathbb Z}/2)\). By a splitting variety for a set of cohomology classes \({\eta}_{F}\in H^{*}(Gal(F^s/F), {\mathbb Z}/2)\), assigned functorially to fields \(F\) over a base field, one means a scheme \(X\) over the base field such that \(X\) has \(F\)-points if and only if there is an element of \({\eta}_{F}\) which vanishes. The authors also prove that in the case where \(F\) is a global field of characteristic \(\neq 2\) and \(a,b,c \in F^{*}\) are such that the triple Massey product \(({\kappa}(a), {\kappa}(b), {\kappa}(c) )\) is defined then this Massey product contains zero.
