The aging (process) is the common standard process which would rule the dynamical properties of disordered statistical mechanical systems. Until now, only the random hopping times (RHT) dynamics has been successful to provide meaningful models. Here one shows that the aging picture applies also to a large class of dynamics on a random energy model (REM) for Glauber-type dynamics. To the best of our understanding, the main result is based on a law of large numbers for the number of discovered sets in random walk.
