The authors introduce and study several classes of topological spaces defined by topological games associated with bornologies with a closed base. On one side, any bornology \(\mathscr{B}\) on a metric space \(X\) determines on \(C(X),\) the set of all continuous functions from \(X\) to the reals, the topology of (strong) uniform convergence \((\mathscr{I}^{s}_{\mathscr{B}}) \;\mathscr{I}_{\mathscr{B}}\) on members of \(\mathscr{B}\). On the other side, the same \(\mathscr{B}\) determines in a natural way a topological game \(\mathscr{G}^{s}_{\mathscr{B}}\). The authors connect the game \(\mathscr{G}^{s}_{\mathscr{B}}\) with properties of function spaces carrying the (strong) uniform convergence on members of \(\mathscr{B}\). Precisely, they prove that if \(C(X)\), equipped with \(\mathscr{I}^{s}_{\mathscr{B}}\), has the Baire property, then the first player of the game \(\mathscr{G}^{s}_{\mathscr{B}}\) has no winning strategy. Furthermore, they improve some results of the recent literature regarding the metrizability of \(\mathscr{I}_{\mathscr{B}}, \;\mathscr{I}^{s}_{\mathscr{B}}\). Moreover, they show that \((C(X), \mathscr{I}_{\mathscr{B}} )\) is completely metrizable iff it is strongly Baire. In the end, they propose open questions as well.
