This paper complements results by \textit{R. Aron} and \textit{D. Markose} [J. Korean Math. Soc. 41, No. 1, 65--76 (2004; Zbl 1069.47006)]. It is shown that the operator \(T_{\lambda,b}: H(\mathbb{C}) \rightarrow H(\mathbb{C})\), \(\lambda, b \in \mathbb{C}\), defined by \(T_{\lambda,b}f(z):=f'(\lambda z + b)\), is hypercyclic if and only if \(|\lambda| \geq 1\), and that there is an infinite dimensional closed subspace \(M\) of \(H(\mathbb{C})\) such that all the elements of \(M\) except \(0\) are hypercyclic for \(T_{\lambda,b}\) if and only if \(|\lambda|=1\). The proofs are refinements of techniques due to Aron, Markose, Grosse-Erdmann and Peris.
