Resolvent and propagation estimates for Klein-Gordon equations with non-positive energy (Q2347242): Difference between revisions

The paper contains a quite extensive presentation of problems related to abstract Klein-Gordon equations and Klein-Gordon operators. Main results of the work are the weighted resolvent estimates and propagation estimates. Some preliminary definitions, notations and results on quadratic operator pencils related to the abstract Klein-Gordon operator, a short review on Krein spaces, self-adjoint operators on Krein spaces, definitizable operators on Krein spaces, elements of Borel functional calculus are presented first. The forth section of the article contains a detailed description of the abstract Klein-Gordon equations and the possible choices of topologies on the space of initial data. Basic properties of Klein-Gordon operators on energy-spaces, Klein-Gordon operators on charge spaces and definitizable Klein-Gordon operators on energy spaces are described in the next three sections. In Section 8, we find the proof of a Mourre estimate for Klein-Gordon operators on energy spaces. Finally, the next three sections are devoted to the proof of weighted resolvent estimates and propagation estimates. Examples of Klein-Gordon equations connected to the stated results are discussed in the last section of the work.
