The author studies an integro-differential equation of Volterra-type, which contains the Stokes equation as a special case. The equations are considered in the light of reiterated homogenization. The author uses multi-scale convergence techniques for the derivation of the homogenized limit. The coefficients oscillate with respect to time and space and are periodic with respect to the oscillatory variables. The article under review also contains a section containing the technical ingredients needed for the proof of the main homogenization result. In particular, one finds results on the two-scale convergence of convolutions. The main theorem obtained is in line of the authors work of the references [the author, Math. Methods Appl.
