The problem of robustness of hydrodynamic equation with respect to small perturbations of their initial conditions is not only an interesting mathematical task but it is quite important from the point of view of practical applications. The common approach is to solve them numerically that implies unavoidable uncertainty due to discretization. This is why this work, which proves the robustness for a certain class of strong solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations for a compressible barotropic fluid confined within 3D boundaries with the slip boundary conditions, is a definite reference frame for such applications. The strong point of the proven theorem is the explicit expression determining the upper boundary for the sum of norms of the density and the velocity perturbations in the Sobolev spaces, which provides the mentioned robustness.
