This paper deals with the study of the initial boundary value problem for the fractional complex 3D Ginzburg-Landau equation with the dissipative effect given by a fractional Laplacian. In the first part of this paper, there are obtained a priori estimates and a bounded absorbing set is obtained. Next, using the Galerkin method, the existence of global smooth solutions is proved as well as a uniqueness property and the continuity of the semigroup of solutions. The final part of this paper is devoted to the existence of the global attractor and to some of its properties, including estimates on the Hausdorff dimension and the fractal dimension.
