The authors consider the non-isentropic compressible and gravitating Euler-Poisson system describing an axisymmetric rotating star with prescribed angular velocity \(\Omega\) and entropy \(s\). Under various assumptions on \(f:=2\Omega\partial_r\Omega\) and \(s\), he proves existence of a smooth axisymmetric solution of the system.
