The author computes using Matlab software the first \(n\) orthogonal polynomials (that is their recurrence coefficients) from the \(2n\) moments of the weight function in the case where the weight function is the exponential function \(E_{\nu}\) of arbitrary order \(\nu\) supported on \([0,\infty)\) or on \([0,c]\), \(c>0\). Once the first \(n\) recurrence coefficients of the orthogonal polynomials have been obtained to whatever accuracy this provides access to all corresponding \(k\)-point Gaussian quadrature rules, \(1\leq k \leq n\) to the same accuracy.
