For a pseudovariety \(H\) of groups denote by \(\overline H\) the pseudovariety consisting of all finite semigroups all of whose subgroups belong to \(H\). It is proved that for arbitrary pseudovariety of groups the pseudovariety \(\overline H\) is finite join irreducible, i.e. for any pseudovarieties of semigroups \(U,V\) from \(\overline H\subseteq U\vee V\) follows \(\overline H\subseteq U\) or \(\overline H\subseteq V\). On the class of pseudovarieties is defined a new binary operation bullet (using the Rees-extension monoid); bullet idempotent pseudovarieties are strictly finite join irreducible, i.e. from \(\overline H=U\vee V\) follows \(\overline H=U\) or \(\overline H=V\).
