Modular dynamical systems on networks (Q907271): Difference between revisions

The authors propose a new framework for the study of continuous time dynamical systems on networks. Such dynamical systems are considered as collections of interacting control systems. It is shown that a class of maps between graphs called graph vibrations give rise to maps between dynamical systems out of combinatorial data. The authors show that surjective maps of graphs give rise to embedding of dynamical systems, and on the other hand, injective maps graphs give rise to submersions of the corresponding phase spaces and surjective maps of dynamical systems.
