The authors investigate the infinitesimal rigidity properties of generic planar bar-and-joint frameworks subject to certain symmetry constrains. In particular, complete combinatorial characterizations of rigidity are given for rotation symmetry as well as dihedral symmetry of order \(2k\), where \(k\) is odd.
