    This paper concerns the Cauchy problem for 3D nematic liquid crystal equations. It is shown that the solutions belong to a Gevrey class if the initial data belong to a critical Besov space. Morover, for small initial data there are presented decay estimates for higher-order derivatives of the solutions.
