The paper studies the quick-thinking-driver model, a driving model, which is used to describe the interaction between adjacent vehicles driving in the same lane. Based on its basic formulation, it develops an infinite-dimensional version of the model, which is then shown to present a chaotic behaviour that depends upon the initial car velocities, similar to the death models of cell growth.
