Quantization of special symplectic nilpotent orbits and normality of their closures (Q2629884): Difference between revisions

Let \(G=\mathrm{Sp}(2n, \mathbb{C})\) be the complex symplectic group, and \(\mathfrak{g}=\text{Lie}(G)\). Let \(\mathcal{O}\) be a nilpotent \(G\)-orbit in \(\mathfrak{g}\) with even columns, and \(R(\mathcal{O})\) be the ring of regular functions on \(\mathcal{O}\). In this paper, the author expresses the multiplicities of fundamental representations appearing in \(R(\mathcal{O})\) by an induced module from a parabolic subalgebra. As an application, the author further provides a sufficient and necessary condition for the Zariski closure \(\overline{\mathcal{O}}\) of \(\mathcal{O}\) to be normal.
