Studies on impulsive differential models with multi-term Riemann-Liouville fractional derivatives (Q330408): Difference between revisions

The following two classes of initial value problems for impulsive fractional differential equations on half lines are investigated in this paper: \[ \begin{cases} D_{0^+}^\alpha x(t)+q(t)f(t,x(t),D_{0^+}^p x(t))=0, \quad t\in (t_i, t_{i+1}), \;i\in\mathbb{N}_0,\\ \lim_{t\rightarrow 0^+}t^{1-\alpha}x(t)=x_0,\\ \lim_{t\rightarrow t_i^+}(t-t_i)^{1-\alpha}x(t)=I(t_i,x(t_i),D_{0^+}^p x(t_i)), \quad i\in\mathbb{N}, \end{cases} \] and \[ \begin{cases} D_{t_i^+}^\alpha x(t)+q_1(t)f_1(t,x(t),D_{t_i^+}^p x(t))=0, \quad t\in (t_i, t_{i+1}), \;i\in\mathbb{N}_0,\\ \lim_{t\rightarrow 0^+}t^{1-\alpha}x(t)=x_0,\\ \lim_{t\rightarrow t_i^+}(t-t_i)^{1-\alpha}x(t)=I_1(t_i,x(t_i),D_{t_{i-1}^+}^p x(t_i)), \quad i\in\mathbb{N}, \end{cases} \] where \(\alpha \in (0,1)\), \(p\in (0,\alpha)\), \(D\) is the standard Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative, \(x_0\in \mathbb{R}\), \(0=t_0<t_1<\cdots<t_{m+1}<1\), \(q: (0,1)\mapsto \mathbb{R}\), \(q_1: \cup_{i=0}^m (t_i,t_{i+1})\mapsto \mathbb{R}\), \(f: (0,1)\times \mathbb{R}^2\mapsto \mathbb{R}\), \(f_1: (\bigcup_{i=0}^m (t_i,t_{i+1}))\times \mathbb{R}^2\mapsto \mathbb{R}\), and \(I,\) \(I_1: \{t_i: i\in \mathbb{N}\}\times \mathbb{R}^2\mapsto \mathbb{R}\). Based on the Schauder fixed point theorem, results about the existence of solutions to the two classes of initial value problems are given. Moreover, examples are presented to illustrate the main theorems.
