The Camassa-Holm equation is a model for the unidirectional propagation of shallow water waves over a flat bottom and a completely integrable equation. In this paper, the authors investigated the initial boundary value problem of the Camassa-Holm equation on the half line by using the method of asymptotic density of the momentum introduced by \textit{G.-Q. Chen} and \textit{H. Frid} [J. Differ. Equations 152, No. 2, 308--357 (1999; Zbl 0926.35085)]. As a result they showed that the solution approaches a train of peakons moving right with different speeds.
