Weyl-Heisenberg (WH) frames, also called Gabor frames, play an important role in quantum mechanics since they allow to expand wavefunctions in terms of an unique reference function, called \textit{window}. In a previous paper [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 38, No. 2, 196--221 (2015; Zbl 1306.81042)] the author has sketched a theory of Hamiltonian deformations of WH frames based on ideas from symplectic geometry. In the present work, the author continues his investigations and proves that one can deform the lattice of a Gaussian or Hermitian frame while keeping the window fixed using a one-parameter group of symplectic transformations determined by that window; this group will be called \textit{the canonical transformation group} of the frame.
